Love Shines Bright Books was created with a simple but meaningful purpose—to share God’s love through stories and encouragement that speak to the heart.

As a creator of Christian children’s books and faith-based greeting cards, my desire is to help families, children, and individuals experience messages of love, hope, and faith in a way that feels personal and lasting.

Stories have a unique way of planting seeds. Through gentle storytelling and meaningful moments, children can begin to understand big truths—like love, faith, and God’s greater plan—in ways that stay with them as they grow.

Each book and card is thoughtfully created with the hope that it will do more than simply be read or received—it will encourage, comfort, and spark connection.

About Lisa Sink Beard

Lisa grew up in Rocky Mount, VA, where her beloved parents taught her the importance of faith, family, and a love for the outdoors. In 1996, she and her husband, Ron, moved to Burlington with their three sons, where they still reside today. They enjoy hiking, spending time with family, and especially making memories with their precious grandchildren.

From an early age, Lisa expressed her heart through poetry and writing. Over the years, she began creating stories to share at Christmas gatherings, often tucking them away afterward as treasured keepsakes. After stepping away from a forty-year career, she felt called to pursue a lifelong dream of sharing her stories with others.

Lisa hopes to live each day with grace and compassion, sharing the light that was kindled in her long ago through both her life and her stories.

Through Love Shines Bright Books, Lisa hopes to create stories that encourage faith, kindness, compassion, and the light of God’s love.
